Our culture’s tendency to avoid the topic of sex has had numerous consequences. This workshop will review current and past research on male sexuality with the hope of stimulating thought and conversation that can promote healthy sexual development.

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will learn about brain mechanisms, structures, and chemicals that are implicated in human sexuality
  • Participants will learn about sexual behavior in animals and implications this may have for human male sexuality
  • We will also consider a theorized proposal for the origin of masculinity and how this impacts male sexuality

Executive Director and Founder of Project Courage

Andy is the Executive Director and founder of Project Courage. Before launching Project Courage in 2006, he was the Director of School-Based Programming for New Hope Manor Inc. In this role, and he worked with the public and private schools, arranging contracts to allow schools to supplement their support staff with substance abuse counseling.
