Alexandra Ramirez joins Anxiety Institute from Yoga 4 Change South Florida, a non-profit organization that brings therapeutic yoga, meditation, and mindfulness to vulnerable populations across Florida. Alexandra, a mental health advocate and registered yoga and meditation instructor, is currently extending her education in a Master’s program in Movement and Mind-Body Therapies at Maryland University of Integrative Health. Alexandra’s specialties include Trauma-Informed Yoga, Children’s Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga for Athletes, Adaptive, and Chair Yoga. With over 2,050 hours of experience, Alexandra brings yoga’s healing therapy to cultivate self-care, resilience, and community.
In her spare time, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family by the ocean. The fresh air and salt water allows for a deep sense of self-connection and mindfulness which Alexandra enjoys sharing with her clients.

My journey to the mat comes from my own struggles with anxiety and depression. Through yoga, I learned how to regulate my nervous system, compassionately sit with my thoughts, and be present in my body.
