Mr. Angelo D’Amico obtained his Master’s Degree in Psychology from Kean University where he is currently an adjunct professor. Over the past eight years, Angelo forged his success in clinical environments including crisis intervention, home therapy settings, and intensive outpatient treatment programs with children, teenagers, and young adults. This clinical background gives Angelo first-hand experience in understanding the importance of the therapeutic alliance when coupled with customized treatment plans.
Angelo now leverages this clinical experience in his role as Clinical Outreach Specialist. During his clinical tenure, Angelo accumulated an extensive personal list of colleagues in the community to ensure all partners work effectively in the clients’ interests. Understanding clients’ and families’ priorities, concerns, and strengths, he engages the mental health, medical, and educational partners required to meet the needs of the client and their family.
His Inspiration:
One of my passions is to empower people to live the life they know they can. While therapy is often a critical component in obtaining that goal, nothing satisfies me more than connecting the right people with the right therapeutic resources to start that transformative adventure.
