Dr. Sickinger has spent nearly two decades as a leader in community mental health, with a focus on the treatment of complex co-occurring conditions, including severe anxiety and OCD. After completing her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Claudia trained in Public Psychiatry at Columbia University’s highly esteemed fellowship program, known for producing psychiatric leadership and excellence in the administration of care with complex mental health concerns. Since that time, she has committed her career as a medical administrator and psychiatrist focusing on the delivery of specialized treatment approaches.

As Medical Director of Anxiety Institute, Greenwich, Claudia works closely with the professional team to provide medical perspective and guidance on the psychological approaches of programming and treatment.  She will consult individually with clients and families to discuss potential benefits of additional medical treatment options.

Her Inspiration:

Claudia knows what it’s like to have a family member struggling with OCD and Autism. Because of her first-hand experience, she understands the daily struggles of clients and their families, appreciates the importance of finding good care and support, and passionately advocates for her clients.
