Jessica Hansmann received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, and Psychology at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. Jessica previously interned at the Connecticut Center for Recovery, where Jessica registered 600 practicum hours working with adults struggling with mental health and addiction. Jessica is currently a candidate for Master of Social Work at Columbia University’s program in Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice. Jessica’s specialties include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Utilizing a non-judgmental approach to counseling in both group and individual settings, Jessica supports adolescents and young adults to achieve resilience and recognition of their own intrinsic value.
Jessica has also explored the integrative arts and is a certified Reiki Master.
Her Inspiration:
By overcoming my own trauma and generalized anxiety, I discovered the intricate layers involved in healing. I decided to obtain the necessary tools in order to inspire adolescents and young adults to take that journey of self-discovery.
