Mr. Loy Anderson joins the Anxiety Institute with over two decades of leadership and client care experience. Most recently, Loy worked with dual diagnosis patients in the unit of co-occurring disorders at the Behavioral Health Center in West Palm Beach.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University and his Master’s degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Mental Health Counseling. He has extensive experience with group therapy and is a certified hypnotherapist. Loy has also served for several years on the Board of Directors for the non-profit Hanley Foundation, which focuses on the treatment and prevention of substance abuse in schools and communities.
In co-running a children's charity for fifteen years, Loy has seen the first-hand effects of anxiety on adolescents and their families, from post-traumatic stress after hurricanes to coping with life’s difficult challenges. Through these shared experiences, he brings hope, humor, honesty, curiosity, and kindness into his therapeutic relationships.
