Meghan Cunningham, BA

Administrative Coordinator, Office Manager

BA, University of Connecticut

Meghan Cunningham joins us from the University of Connecticut. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in both English and Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS). In Meghan’s senior year, she worked as a research assistant in the HDFS department focusing on mindfulness therapies under Dr. Na Zhang, a renowned scholar in the field. This experience equipped Meghan with valuable research skills and also taught her the importance of implementing mindfulness activities into everyday life. Meghan plans to pursue a career in Child Development and School Psychology to aid adolescents who struggle with anxiety and depression.

In the past four years, Meghan has gained significant experience in office management, marketing and customer service while working in Wilton, CT, where she acted as an Assistant Manager and oversaw customer relations in a specialty import business. She is happy to transfer her skills to the Greenwich location of Anxiety Institute and looks forward to ensuring that all clients are getting the care they need.

Her Inspiration:

After a bout of anxiety during adolescence, I realized that there is help and hope for those struggling with anxiety and resolved that one day I would help others overcome the everyday stressors that can cause harmful anxiety.
