Known for her work ethic and communication skills, Melissa’s responsibilities include managing admissions procedures and educating parents on program details and expectations.

Her past expertise on performing clinical intake, as well as working with clients with substance abuse, endows her with the understanding of how to work effectively with therapists, maintain the therapist-to-client ratio, and support families through the processes of recovery at Anxiety Institute. Melissa’s ultimate goal is to pursue an MA in Social Work.

Her Inspiration:

I had a family member who for years battled addiction which stemmed from an untreated anxiety disorder. Watching their repeated, though often fruitless efforts to move forward, I resolved to study psychology and drug dependency in order to find concrete solutions. When I combined my natural administrative skills with the clinic’s need to manage daily operations, it was the perfect match.
