MSW Intern

BA, Stockton University // MSW Candidate, Montclair State University

Nicole Gingerelli joins Anxiety Institute as she completes her Master of Social Work degree at Montclair State University, with an expected graduation date in May 2025 and eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Childhood Studies from Stockton University. During her undergraduate years, Nicole volunteered with Hoops 4 All and South Jersey Field of Dreams, organizations that support individuals with physical and mental disabilities through team sports.

Nicole is eager to advance her expertise in exposure and response prevention (ERP) and cognitive behavioral therapy while at Anxiety Institute. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Nicole also practices photography as a reflective tool, a skill she feels enhances her abilities as a clinician.

Her Inspiration:

After being diagnosed with anxiety and depression during COVID-19, therapy helped me through an incredibly difficult time. Now, as I pursue my clinical license, I’m inspired to support adolescents and young adults, just as my therapist supported me, guiding them through life’s challenges.
