Shane has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University. They have a master's degree in Social Work with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Shane has interest in the relationship between anxiety, vulnerability, and resilience. As a nonbinary clinician and coach, they take great interest in focusing on LGBTQ issues and advocacy, and providing a safe space of visibility, exploration, and inclusion.

Their Inspiration:

Shane’s own journey with mental health and within the queer community allows them to connect and better understand adolescents and young adults, while also developing a strong and authentic therapeutic relationship. Shane is most gratified when treatment unfolds in development of resilience and determination. They consider their life’s mission to be a guiding mentor for adolescents during their deepest moments of self-exploration and development of personal values.
