Christina Stilian comes to Anxiety Institute with a professional background in data analytics and administration. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Communication and Social Justice, Christina spent her early career working for the Navy, coordinating the childcare program for military families with children with special needs. Detail-oriented with a laser focus on streamlining operations, Christina consistently seeks opportunities to facilitate the growth and support of her local community. These skills will not only strengthen Anxiety Institute’s operations, but will bolster the relationship that Anxiety Institute shares with the community.
Outside of work, Christina is an avid dancer and dance instructor. Christina embodies the philosophy that expression through dance allows people to process difficult experiences. As an instructor, Christina facilitates an inclusive artistic space where people feel able to express aspects of themselves through movement.
As an adolescent and young adult, I struggled with anxiety and depression. I felt helpless and unsure of how I would get through those trying times. Dylan Thomas’s poem, “Do not go gentle into that good night,” had a powerful impact on me and gave me the inspiration to believe that there will always be a way to get through the darkness. I’m proud to be a part of Anxiety Institute.
