Sarea Foley joins Anxiety Institute from Discovery Behavioral Health where she distinguished herself as a consummate healthcare outreach professional with a passion for improving healthcare access and outcomes. Sarea has conducted professional outreach, marketing, and community events at both Discovery Behavioral Health and the National Alliance for Eating Disorders.

Along with Anxiety Institute colleague Kyrsten Bravo, Sarea founded the Adolescent Community Network, a collaborative network of child and adolescent resources to help parents and providers access appropriate support. Sarea arrives with a well-established network of community resources, a profound understanding of healthcare systems, and the ability to capitalize on resources for her client’s advantage. Sarea supports the mission of Anxiety Institute by addressing each family’s needs systemically while coupling therapeutic assets with customized treatment plans.

During her free time, Sarea enjoys her life-long pursuit of dance, a practice that keeps her grounded in the present moment and supports her work-life balance. Sarea also loves chasing after her 3-year-old toddler at the beach.

Her Inspiration:

Raising a child is challenging under the best of circumstances. Adding mental health issues complicates the picture dramatically. When I realized that our current mental health infrastructure does not adequately support parents, I chose to focus my organizational and partnership talents on connecting parents with reliable psychological resources.
