Anxiety Institute Appoints Dina Nunziato as Clinical Director

Anxiety Institute, a clinical research center specializing in acute anxiety disorders, announced today that Dina Nunziato, LCSW, has joined the company’s leadership team as the Clinical Director of the Greenwich, Connecticut facility responsible for overall clinical, supervisory, and administrative management.
Nunziato joins Anxiety Institute from the Sarah Lawrence College where she was Director of Counseling & Psychological Services responsible for supervising the team of mental and medical health providers.
With over two decades of experience working with young adults in various clinical and educational settings, Nunziato specializes in cognitive behavioral treatment of anxiety and related disorders. Her research and publications include the use of evidenced-based mindfulness techniques to support anxiety management, academic success, and emotional wellbeing. Dina served as an adjunct professor at Integrated Clinical Practice New York University’s Graduate School of Social Work for over ten years.
“I am excited to join Anxiety Institute where I can spearhead new programs which support clients, parents, and staff using evidence-based resources to drive clinical efficacy,” said Nunziato. She is currently completing a doctoral dissertation on “Embodied Learning Communities of Practice in Addressing College Student Anxiety.”
