Kevin Rodriguez joins Anxiety Institute while completing his Master of Social Work degree at Montclair State University (May 2025), with future eligibility as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Kevin has extensive experience supporting children and adolescents with autism, trauma, and other mental health challenges. His expertise includes crisis intervention, developed during his time at Mobile Response and Stabilization Services, where he provided vital resources to individuals and families. As a Senior Care Manager at Capitol Country Children’s Collaborative, Kevin advocated for clients, created effective treatment plans, and evaluated services to ensure high-quality care.
A Bonner Scholar, Kevin discovered his passion for helping underserved communities through volunteer work and internships with organizations like the Family Preservation Center and Rider’s Alcohol/Drug & Sexual Assault Prevention Education. His strength-based approach empowers clients to build resilience and overcome challenges.
His Inspiration:
Growing up LatinX, my family background did not prioritize mental health. Losing my grandmother during the pandemic impelled me into my first experience with therapy which changed everything for me. After that, I knew I wanted to share with others the life-changing opportunity that had been shared with me.
