Emily Poletto joins Anxiety Institute with experience as an Associate Primary Therapist and Group Therapist at Compass Health Center. There, she utilized evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Emily further specialized in exposure response prevention (ERP) and served as the adolescent OCD specialist. Emily has extensive experience treating individuals and groups navigating OCD, complex anxiety, and mood disorders across partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings.
Emily enjoys outdoor activities and fitness classes that emphasize consistency, resilience, and self-care. She draws inspiration from these practices to motivate clients to incorporate movement into their routines for both emotional and physical well-being, while cultivating a calm and supportive environment for reflection and personal growth.
Her Inspiration:
Stepping outside my comfort zone and embracing opportunities I never imagined has been key to living a life aligned with my values. I am constantly inspired by my clients’ courage to embrace discomfort and change, knowing these are essential parts of growth.
