David Gofman brings a decade of experience supporting teens, young adults, and emerging professionals through life’s most pivotal transitions. He has worked across a range of clinical settings—from private practice to community mental health—and has held leadership roles including Behavioral Health Director at New Horizons Healthcare in Roanoke, VA, and Director of Operations at Causeway Collaborative in Westport, CT. David specializes in exposure response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and is a certified teacher of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR).

David takes a practical, goal-oriented approach to treatment, helping clients confront anxiety by taking meaningful action aligned with their core values. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, running, cooking, hiking with his two dogs, and spending time with his family.

His Inspiration:

Every day, I have the privilege of walking alongside individuals facing mental health challenges, including anxiety and OCD. I recognize the strength it takes to manage these challenges and I hold that courage with deep respect. Healing begins not with eliminating anxiety, but with the willingness to live fully in its presence.
