Information for Referring Providers
We view every referral as a partnership.
At Anxiety Institute, we support adolescents and young adults with OCD, anxiety, ARFID, and related disorders through structured, evidence-based care, while helping referring providers stay informed, aligned, and confident in their client’s progress.

When to Refer
Consider referral when progress in weekly therapy has plateaued, symptoms continue to interfere with daily functioning, avoidance or rituals are escalating, or step-down support is needed after higher levels of care.
Refer to Anxiety Institute when:
- Weekly outpatient therapy is not producing meaningful symptom reduction
- OCD or anxiety continues to interfere with school, work, or family functioning
- Avoidance, rituals, or reassurance seeking are escalating
- A higher frequency of structured, exposure-based treatment is clinically indicated
- Step-down support is needed following residential or higher levels of care
