Alex Hittman, PsyD

Staff Clinician

BA, Johns Hopkins University // PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Rutgers GSAPP

Dr. Alex Hittman brings extensive experience supporting adolescents facing anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma-related challenges, and difficulties with emotion regulation. Her postdoctoral training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy for adolescents (DBT-A), and exposure-based treatments helps clients build practical skills and resilience. Her additional experience in university counseling centers shapes her supportive, collaborative approach.

In her free time, Alex enjoys playing soccer, tennis and tending to her gardens. She finds that gardening offers a meaningful way to slow down, engage the senses, and connect with the present moment.

Her Inspiration:

No matter someone’s background, most people want to understand their experience, feel truly seen, and find a way forward. I find it deeply meaningful to help others make sense of overwhelming thoughts and emotions and to show that change and healing are possible.
