Most recently, she served as Director of Professional and Community Relations at Embark Behavioral Health. With expertise in policy and community partnerships, she excels in interdisciplinary collaboration to connect clients and families with the best available resources. Dedicated to integrating community services into treatment plans, Alex ensures that each client’s unique needs are met with comprehensive support.
Alex maintains a strong network of education and mental health professionals in the DMV area. She serves on the board of Washington Independent Services for Educational Resources (WISER), advocating for individuals with learning, accessibility, and mental health needs. Passionate about parent education, she empowers families with the knowledge and tools to support their children’s success.
Her Inspiration:
When I was an adolescent, a teacher advocated for me when I could not advocate for myself. They found me help and resources I didn’t even know were available. Now I am a staunch advocate for children and parents, finding the resources needed to propel families forward.
