Alidis Vicente brings over 20 years of experience working with children and families in early childhood education, outpatient, and inpatient settings. She has supported psychiatrically hospitalized youth at Summit Oaks Hospital, focusing on crisis management and stabilization. Alidis approaches therapy with a strengths-based mindset, believing that everyone has the capacity to grow when they feel heard and supported. Her clinical work integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused strategies (SFBT) to help clients build practical tools for long-term emotional well-being.
Alidis is a candidate for her PhD in Family Science and Human Development and is certified in Promoting Child and Adolescent Well-Being, with experience working with school-based mental health services. Outside of her clinical work, she recharges through movement, writing, and travel—core pieces of her own wellness routine.
Her Inspiration:
After college, I worked for child protective services. My experiences were an inspiration for becoming an advocate for the well-being of youth and families. The power of connection, resilience, and determination motivates me to help clients achieve their wellness goals.
