Breanna Scordato, BA

Clinical Intern

BA, Boston University // MSW Candidate, Columbia University

Breanna Scordato joins Anxiety Institute as a Master of Social Work intern at Columbia University. Prior to pursuing social work, Breanna spent more than 10 years in corporate settings, where she developed a passion for helping individuals and teams navigate the intersection of their personal and professional lives.

Breanna brings this professional experience, along with her clinical training, to her work with adolescents, young adults, and their families. She strives to create a supportive space in which clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

Outside of her clinical work, Breanna enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Ruby. These moments provide opportunities to slow down, engage her senses, and practice present-moment awareness, principles that Breanna also incorporates into her work with clients.

Her Inspiration:

Through my previous work experience, I saw firsthand how anxiety and perfectionism can affect every aspect of a person’s life. This insight inspired my career transition and commitment to supporting clients as they navigate these experiences and work toward healing.
