With over 12 years of experience, Dana Messick has provided mental health care for teens and adults in both standard and intensive outpatient settings. She earned her master’s degree and Advanced Counseling Certificate in Community Counseling from Montclair State University. Additionally, as a trained Licensed Associate Counselor, supervises newer counselors.

Dana has experience conducting assessments, evaluations, and evidence-based interventions for individuals with anxiety and related disorders. Using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), she includes a strength-based, person-centered approach, to help clients achieve meaningful growth.

Her Inspiration:

I know firsthand how anxiety affects well-being and that true change happens when someone is ready. I meet clients where they are, offering support at their pace. Inspired by their perseverance, I strive to empower them to overcome their challenges and grow.
