Webinar

Under the CBT Umbrella: Exploring ERP and DBT Treatment Options and Choosing the Right Approach for Your Clients

Date

This course was held on August 16, 2023

Presenter

Alyson Orcena, LMFT, Executive Clinical Director at Evolve Treatment Centers with Dina Nunziato, PhD, LCSW from Anxiety Institute

In this 90-minute webinar, we will explore the seminal principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and highlight two highly effective treatments rooted in CBT theory: Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

By comparing and contrasting these therapeutic modalities, we aim to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of their unique strengths, applications, and client suitability. Through interactive discussions, case examples, and practical exercises, attendees will gain valuable insights and practical skills to make informed decisions when choosing between ERP and DBT for their clients.

Whether you are a therapist, counselor, or mental health professional, this webinar will equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to optimize treatment outcomes and better serve your clients' diverse needs.
