Adolescents with anxiety often present with additional concerns that can complicate assessment and treatment—including ADHD symptoms and cannabis use.

When these conditions overlap, clinicians may face important questions about differential diagnosis, treatment priorities, and how one condition may influence the course and treatment of another.

Join experts from Anxiety Institute, Child Mind Institute, and Silver Hill Hospital for a multidisciplinary discussion exploring the clinical intersections of adolescent anxiety, ADHD, and cannabis use

Through discussion and clinical perspectives from psychology, psychiatry, and addiction treatment, panelists will examine how overlapping symptoms can complicate the clinical picture, how ADHD and cannabis use may affect anxiety treatment, and considerations for developing thoughtful, coordinated treatment plans for teens with co-occurring concerns.

Panelists: Dina Nunziato, PhD, LCSW, Chief Clinical Officer, Anxiety Institute; Amy Swift, MD, Deputy Medical Director, Silver Hill Hospital; and Emma Woodward, PhD, Psychologist, Child Mind Institute.

Moderated by: Betsie Bergman, LCSW, Associate Clinical Director/Outpatient Practice Manager, Anxiety Institute.

CE credit(s) available for those attending. See below for details.
