About our Integrated Psychiatric Services
Our Integrated Psychiatric Services are led by Anxiety Institute Medical Director, Dr. Omar Canosa, a child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist with expertise in treating individuals ages 9 and older who struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, and related co-occurring disorders.
Dr. Canosa focuses on the unique developmental needs of adolescents and young adults, providing a comprehensive range of services, including consultation, assessment, and personalized medication management. These services are available to clients in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)*, outpatient therapy services, as well as those seeking medication management independently. Every individual receives a thorough evaluation, including a medical review, to ensure top-tier, integrated care that supports every step of their mental health journey.
Integrated Psychiatric Services Offering Includes:
- Consultation, assessment and medication management with our specialized psychiatrist, treating anxiety, depression, OCD and related co-occurring disorders.
- In addition to an in-depth clinical evaluation, Intensive Outpatient Program clients* benefit from a comprehensive psychiatric consultation, including a medication management review, to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Psychiatric services are available for outpatient therapy clients and for individuals seeking medication management without concurrent therapy.
*Available for NJ/CT IOP clients at this time.

Anxiety Institute specializes in treating anxiety, OCD and related disorders. As such, individuals struggling with the following disorders are better served by other programs and/or professionals.
