Cookie is a four-year-old trained therapy dog with a big heart. Rescued from Conroe, Texas, she now splits her time between Brooklyn, NY and Greenwich, CT, spreading joy and positivity wherever she goes.
Cookie loves meeting new people and making new friends — especially her friends at Anxiety Institute! She has a special gift for making everyone feel like they matter, and a few minutes of petting her is known to melt away stress and bring on a wave of calm. Cookie also knows how hard it can be to feel brave sometimes. During thunderstorms, she’s the first to seek out a hug from her favorite humans. When she’s not busy comforting others, you’ll find her happily trotting along on a long walk, snapping up turkey treats, or asking (not so subtly) for a belly rub!

I’m inspired by the kindness people showed me, especially during my own difficult rescue journey. Now I want to help others on their hard journeys feel that same kindness — to know there are caring people (and pups!) out there ready to support them, every step of the way.
