Liliana has experience working in intensive outpatient settings, where she enhanced her expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure response prevention (ERP) while treating clients with anxiety disorders, OCD, and depression. Liliana earned her Master of Social Work from Columbia University and is currently working toward her advanced clinical licensure.
Outside of Anxiety Institute, Liliana has experience as an on-site social worker at Columbia’s Summer Academy, where she supported first-generation, low-income high school students. In her free time, she enjoys reading and solving the New York Times Crossword.
Her Inspiration:
My fascination with mood disorders began in high school after taking a psychology class. This early interest inspired me to study psychology at Georgetown University and pursue a career in clinical social work. Working with teenagers has strengthened my commitment to this field, and I find continual inspiration from the dedicated clinicians at Anxiety Institute who motivate me in my professional journey.
