Lisa Shapiro is currently a candidate for her Master of Social Work at Yeshiva University and is eager to apply her clinical skills with adolescents, young adults, and their families at Anxiety Institute. Lisa’s extensive experience includes collaborating with schools to strengthen partnerships and advocate for student and parent needs. She approaches her work with curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to helping clients feel understood and supported.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys reading and playing tennis, activities that help her recharge and maintain balance—strengths she brings to her work with clients.

Her Inspiration:

I was inspired to pursue social work after witnessing how support can impact children and families facing challenges. Experiences in schools and the community showed me the power of advocacy and connection, motivating me to walk alongside others.
