Paula Levin-Alcorn is an RYT 200 registered yoga instructor, who focuses on integrating her clinical knowledge with the teaching of yoga, breathwork and mindfulness. Paula’s 30 years of experience includes working with yoga for those with traumatic brain injury; adapting yoga for the mobility impaired; and empowering veterans to cope with their anxiety. Paula brings a playful and genuine spirit to her yoga classes, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for adolescents and young adults to explore the mind-body connection as a method to overcome anxiety.
While not working, Paula enjoys the contemplative moods brought on by hiking, baking and drumming. As a life-long yoga practitioner herself, Paula draws constant inspiration, strength, and new ideas from all who work with her.
Her Inspiration:
As I go through life, I’ve come to understand how yoga is a never-ending circle of giving and receiving hope – both on and off the mat. I hope to pass this inspiration on to my clients as they find their inner strength to cope with anxiety. I wish I had discovered yoga in my teen years!
